They really are a very quality built part and look amazing.

Thank you for the kind words on the write up

Ride quality I would actually say is much better than the stock suspension and to be honest feels smoother in most cases of daily driving. These also perform very well! I played a bit with the dampening and rebound over the weekend at an auto cross event that was Saturday and Sunday. Got 18 runs in for the weekend and played around with the setups. Had a blast!

Thanks for the quick response, i've been looking for high quailty suspension that will give my evo a lower stance without sacrificing on ride quaitly too much and these might just be what i'am looking for. Looks like i know what i will be treating myself to this christmas .

No worries

Yes they really are one of the highest quality coilovers you can get and honestly would not be disappointing in these

I have a few friends that are running this in daily and weekend racing application and love them. I am saving up to get these for my personal Evo 8 as I really am very impressed and pleased with these on our Evo X.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns on anything before you are ready to purchase.

Did this by myself about 4 months ago. had never done suspension before. Total time including removal of wheels and re-installing wheels was about 5 hours.

I ran into a few problems. A big note is that some guides tell you to remove the sensor in the hub for the front wheels. This is NOT necessary. Mine wouldn't come out and I wasted 30min trying to get it out before I just decided to see if I could finish without removing it, and that worked fine.

One of the coolest surprises with this suspension for me was how much lighter they are then oem. The first OEM strut I pulled out I almost dropped after having been used to carrying the ohlins around, lol.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.

Yes the sensors are not something that need to be removed at all to install the suspension.

The Ohlins are much much lighter than the stock assemblies that is for sure

I wish I would have weighed it all looking back to know how much lighter it actually is. Maybe I will work on that to add as some good info on this write up

RallySport, did you guys lower your evo according to the ohlins suggested 25mm drop or did you go lower? I love the stance of your evo and want the same.

Once the front Ohlins coilovers are in, do you align the car with the top camber plates set to 0? How about the camber bolts below...what should they be set to? Or are the camber bolts replaced with an Ohlins bolt?
