I have an evo x gsr with out the projector headlights. I put 8000k HID's in it. I'm interested in getting the depo projector housings so I could black them out. My question is, what is the absolute minimum to instal these on my car? Can i just install them and put my aftermarket HID's in them? Thanks for your help.

Plug and play my friend. Just as long as your bulb size is the same as the Depo headlights, you are okay. I assume you also have the relay to avoid flickering.

 

Mine were pretty cheap I think around the $350 range. I used my stock relays and just had to get new bulbs. You will more then likely have to adjust the beams though once you install them.

Isn't it really annoying for everyone on the road when you have HIDs in your reflector headlights...

I also only have reflectors on my GSR, and I'd like to replace the whole headlights with projector headlights, but I'd put HIDs in my reflectors.. If anything I'd just get different halogen bulbs to get the color temperature I'm looking for (although there probably isn't as much variety as HIDs)..

I wouldn't want to be "that guy" with the annoying *** headlights.. What'd you end up doing with your car OP?
