OEM Serpentine belt 4451A114 vs 4451A115
OEM Serpentine belt 4451A114 vs 4451A115
I went to the dealership to get the drive belt recall job done.
They called me that my EvoX uses the part number 4451A115, which is correct. But they only had 4451A114 in stock which the tech said that's what they habitually use for a belt job. So I give props to them for looking out on this and they're getting a 4451A115 for my car the next day.
Now that left me wondering of what is the difference between 4451A114 vs 4451A115. Just wondering if you guys have some insight.
That may be a cause for why some EvoX's keep throwing up the belt?

Huh!
quick interwebs search reveals:
114 is 4B11 non-turbo (~$60 OEM/Mitsu parts) and the 115 is 4B11T and is ~$106...
They are different!
If you go to Autozone:
4B11 is 506(width in mm) and 1010 (Length in mm)
4B11T needs 506 and 1033 :O
So how did they get the shorter belt on?!
Go back and demand the correct part!

If you go on Rock Auto, it says 2008-2015 4B11T cars use the 1033. Except for 2012, where it says the 1010 for Continental, AC Delco, and Gates. Dayco it still says 1033.
Dayco's website says 1033 for all years.
Gates' website says 1033 for all years except 2012, which is 1010.
Mitsubishi part numbers are the same for all years.
So, there is definitely some bad fitment out there if you have a 2012. It's worth checking multiple sources and multiple years to catch oddities.

1033 for all 4B11T.
1010 for all 4B11.
