detailing question - interiror
Guys, I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for keep static off the interior shiny parts on the dash and doors. I have tried Maguire's interior clean and condition. This works well for cleaning and keep the interior looking nice but does nothing for the static on those shiny parts.
I see Chemical guys interior cleaner helps with static but I wanted suggestions on what others have done. This was a pain in my Ralliart as well.
thanks

I use Static Guard on my cloth seats in the Winter which helps a lot with getting shocked.
As for the plastics gathering dust, I just wipe them down with detailer spray. Not sure if you can really avoid it much. CG makes good products so it may be worth giving it a shot. Or moisturize more. Most of the dust in the car is from you.

thanks, yes seems like one thing they used on my Ralliart made it better because it looked wet. I will try the Chemical Boys or see if they would give me a sample to try. I wish the stuff I had worked well enough.

I use Sonax Dashboard Cleaner - Matte Finish. This stuff works great. It doesnt stink, it leaves a nice matte finish and reduces static cling.
