dual guides on backup camera 2015 Rockford Fosgate Nav System

Had anyone experienced dual graphical guides on the backup camera. There seems to be the one from the camera, and then one from the navigation system. Does anyone know how to turn the internal one off? If you need the model backup camera I can list it. It's plugged into the Rockford Fosgate Nav System.

thanks

Sounds like you're trying to use an aftermarket camera with the OEM Nav system. Some cameras like the Kenwood CMOS-220/320 can be adjusted but a lot of them are sold either with or without guide lines. I don't believe that you can toggle them in the factory Nav.

yes aftermarket camera and OEM navigation. I was wondering if there was some hidden system menu to turn off the navigation guides. The camera is an Audiovox.

thanks

funny when I backup sometimes it looks fine, I guess it's after the startup that comes on. Now just to figure out the system menu thing.

I got it to work but not sure why the first time it would not. Maybe with the car on and in drive and on the system page. I held down the settings button and the map button. I was able to click on the backup camera button and disable the graphic!!! Thanks for the help.
If anyone is interested, I have 2015 Evo MR with the Rockford Fosgate system (amp, sub, speakers)

edit: when you hold down both buttons, it shoots you to the settings page then beeps, then enters the hidden menu
