you cant contact japanparts.com and have them get it for you?
if its not not in their catalog you can still call and request it.
the knobs arn't really that great though. mines not an fq400 but the AC knob unit is similar to it. i get confused with celsius and the climate control. i would prefer the standard US ones.

usdm and jdm climate controls are completely different

usdm is mechanical
jdm is electronic

That's pretty sick! and a great idea. I've always wondered why they didn't put another gauge there. Any pics of how you modified it?

Got my car back with the cage painted and the dash flocked.
The guy who painted it really wanted to make sure the paint on the cage was as glossy and awesome as on the floor so he took the cage out (not easy at all considering he had to worry about not scratching the paint that was already there) painted it and put it back it. Turns out it took 5 hours just to put the cage back in the car! there is not a scratch on the cage anywhere though so was worth the patience. No idea how he slipped all the brackets on without ruining it.

I can pretty much use the roof as a mirror now...

Despite the fact he had never even heard of flocking before, the dash turned out pretty damn sweet. You can even make out the outline of the passenger airbag and read the SRS logo still. was too hard to get a pic of though with my lack of camera skills.

Flocking is a finish on the dash that removes the glare. Lots use it on Rally cars as well as circuit cars.
