Did a quick Photoshop (although I actually used Paint Shop Pro) of the latest X pics to see if it looks good without the wing and I'm glad to say it does!

 

I will likely (95%) go wingless within a week or 2 of picking up my X. Delivery could be as early as tomorrow/Sat, or as late as Tues/Wed next week.

looks like a bottom of the line lancer with brembos. they should have made the evo more distinct from the base model lancer imo.

 

hmm...definitely looses some aggression. i would probably get a lip spoiler (similar to the e46 m3)

I'm sure Rexpeed will have a nice trunk lip, like they offer for the IX.

 

Very few people will be able to tell the EVO from the Ralli Art from the GTS from the Base from a distance...LOL and none of them have the performacne to pull away at a moments notice leaving you saying "oh that was an EVO for sure!"

 

I dont want a big wing on mine either i prefer just a a cool lip...

 

Nice but I like the wing better. Definately keeping mine on.

This is similar to mitsu's last decade when you would have the 3000GT SL(non turbo) and the VR4(TTAWD).

I like that concept because the cheapy guys still look cool if someone mistakes them, and the rich guys look even better when they smoke people.

I also like it when honda fanboi's claim they beat VR4's with their NA 4 bangers with chicken wire mods, I can already see the many that will claim they beat evo's considering the 09 ralli art is coming out.

 

Also i love both looks. But the wing actually have functionality so i am stuck in between
