Got my X!!
Well, if he got it fully equipped $40K is about right... SSS, aero kit, navigation, other stuff etc.
The BASE Evo X is about $32K - start tacking stuff on and it adds up fast.

Ok to cover a few things. Sticker on the car was $38,600, and after taxes I had a total of $40,700. The car is loaded with navigation ($2000), aero kit ($2000), Interior package ($399) and some other crap.
I don't really like silver, but I don't dislike it and that is what they had in 05 when I walked in and what they had yesterday when I walked in.
-The car does NOT feel slower than my stock 05 VIII did. Hell honestly I think it feels like it is easier to keep in the powerband. My neighbor has a stock 8 so I will find out.
-I may have been shafted, but I paid MSRP for a car I really liked and I got the first one off the trailer in our region. When you are spending $40K on a 4 banger space ship looking rice rocket, do you really give a damn about a couple grand? I didn't. I was just happy to have it.
-I had the same attitude most have. I did not like the looks and was pissed about the magazine performance. When I walked in the dealer and saw it from the front, my jaw hit the floor. After driving it I was sold, and I love my little 8.
Rest assured guys...it is 100% Lancer Evolution. The handling is unreal, the brakes are better, the ride is better, less body roll, and WAY more creature comforts. I'm one of those guys that if they would have offered it with no interior, a roll cage, and more power I would have been all over it...but it took a drive to convince me that it is a superior car. I will post more about my experiences as soon as the tracks open. I will 1/4 mile and auto x the car to death
Also...WAY more room in the engine bay.

It is a solid car and I've never had an issue.
-Compression is 180,180,180,180
-tranny is in good shape and so is the ACT clutch
-245 Falken Azenis put on 1000 miles ago, but I did run at 2 auto x events on them
-Comp 272 cams and Manley springs and retainers
-AEM wideband and a boost gauge
-Project Mu pads with 5K miles
-I've never turned the boost up past stock
Other than that she is pretty stock. PM me a phone number if interested.
Price is negotiable depending on terms of sale
