Photoshop'd MR - Opinions?

I quickly photoshop'd some pics I have, so don't mock them. I was wanting your guys' opinions on whether or not to do a couple things, once I'm able to get my MR. Here are some pics of the regular tail lights & tinted, as well as regular rims and what a powdercoat on the edging of some rims might look like. Tell me what you think.

The tail lights are what I'm considering doing the most. I can't decide if the red is too intense, since everything else is black. Or is it too much black, if I spray coat them. Spraying them will only cost $20, compared to $200, whenever after market ones come out. What should I do?

I am not a fan of the IS inspired tail lights. I think a tinting or some sort of darker replacements would be nice. Didn't Mistu lear when they copied the last IS???

Yeah, I was thinking about doing the tinting as a quick fix, then I'll see how much it costs to replace them, when after market carbon ones come out.
