Don't really like the tinted lights....wheels don't look too different. i wouldn't do either personally.

I'd wait to see what the aftermarket comes up with for rear lights; and wheels something different...

The wheel is subtle to notice, besides I prefer the hyper black, but the taillight tint, that I could like.

I like the tinted tail light look on a black X cause the red jumps out a bit too much. I'd probably wait to see what aftermarket lights become available first though.

^Seems the aftermarket has been slow on that aspect. I'd rather do that myself, but in the meantime would do the tinting. Aren't the tails the same as the base '08 lancers? Those have been out for a year & still no aftermarkets, at least on eBay.

I've never liked tinted taillights on any car. Especially on a black ride, it's like wannabe-Batmobile.

^ Okay... so you think I should stay w/the red, which is a bit intense for me on a black car? What is your suggestion that I do? Aftermarket lights aren't available yet, if they were, I wouldn't be going w/this solution, I would go w/some carbon fiber lights instead.

Leave the tails be if you're planning on buying a black MR.

I would like to see dark tails on a white car though.

I'd totally wait for the aftermarket crowd to kick in. I've seen plenty of do-it-yourselves for taillights and most of them end up looking bad after a year or two.
