i don't really get why a lot of people have a problem with 18 yr olds driving evos other that the general sterotype of all teenagers....this is a car enthusiate website where people share their passion for their cars....not the people that drive them

People see an 18 yr old "kid" driving a car twice as nice as thier sh!tbox and they get all butt-hurt, and assume that the driver is some punk *** kid who doesn't appreciate the car. Well "F" them right in the ear hole! Hell,I am 31 and can't afford an evo yet (hopefully soon though now that I have a degree finally). My girlfriend drives an '07 Lexus IS250 (she's 23) and gets dirty looks all of the time, and it pisses us both off. We work hard for the house, cars, etc... that we have. If people don't like it they can grab a mouthfull of shotgun and let 'er rip!

Kudos to you with an evo at 18. I don't care who any of you are, if this kid bought it himself or his parents helped him buy it or bought it for him, how ever he got it, you would of taken, got it the same way if you could. Don't hate because someone is more fortunate then you.

i know 3 people at the age of 18-20..all with evo 9's..and they have no clue on how to drive the car whatsoever..i think it is a very bad lack of judgement on the parents side..now when they wreck their cars or someone hits them..its totally on the parents..and pray that nothing serious happens to them..if i were the salesman..i wouldnt sell a car like this to the family.!!! jmho
