Well, that stinks that those teenagers don't deserve their car. I too believe that a one should appreciate their blessings, but at an early age, its hard to do so. In the same breath, i too believe that it truly is a case by case basis of whether an 18yr old is mature or qualified enough to own such a sought after and high powered car. I was 18 when i first got my STi (and yes my parents did buy it for me) but i did treat it with respect and i did learn what was appropriate for the track and what was appropriate for the street and was sure not to confuse the two. The result... no tickets as of date and the ability to know how to drive such an awesome machine.

Kudos to you 628! keep your head up... i'm sure you'll prove to NOT be a statistic!
