i know this may be a dumb question...but i always wondered what that small black piece at the back of the side skirt is. in front of the rear tires at the bottom is that small almost triangle piece. what is that? what does it do? and can it be applied to stock side skirts? is it for protection from dirt and chips?

 

1. i tihink the name of it is the sideskirt side spat.

2. its an add overlay piece that looks nice

3. the above pictures are the stock aero sideskirts, rexpeed makes one for both aero and OEM skirts.

4. it probably protects the rear of the skirt more than nothing.
