Yeah I'm not feeling the aero kit either. Especially for the extra price. I don't think the car looks as clean with it on there.

 

Aero kit is hideous. Makes the car look MUCH cheaper than it is.

I think the aero kit looks terrible. The front bumper looks ridiculous with that lip and the side skirts are like steps. The dealer near me has that option on all of their Evos too which is annoying.

 

How can you guys not like the Rockford Fosgate? They make some of the best sound around. The speakers that come with the car if you don't get the SSS package are by far worse. Meh.

 

Can anyone Photoshop a pic of the X w/aero kit where you can see the side skirts & the front grille, but remove the aero on the front? My only issue w/the aero is mainly this front part by the fog lights... I don't like the way it juts out. It's not terrible, but I like seeing the entire grille.

 

Never mind, I did it myself. I used your pic as a base RKT SHP, hope that was okay . Do you guys like it? I do.

I think it looks like a regular lancer without them. Sorry, but if they release the turbo lancer to compete with the wrx then there won't be much difference appearance wise between that and an evo without the skirts...

It doesn't. It has a little lip kit around to create some difference between it and the regular GTS.

 

The Evo has a widebody, different front and rear bumpers and turbulence exhaust ports on the front fenders and larger wing. That's pretty different to me. The only people that won't be able to tell the difference are non-Evo fans and blind people.
