Did you use a D2R type bulb or a D2S? If you used a D2S bulb you need to change to a D2R. The D2S is specifically designed for projector based housings and a D2R are for the type of housing you currently have (reflector based). They look nice overall! They appear to be non projector, am I correct?
Wow that looks absolutely HORRIBLE. Look at that beam pattern (or lack thereof, should i say)
You are "plugging in" HID bulbs/ballasts into a halogen REFLECTOR headlight.
The advantage of HID headlights comes in the sharp, clean cutoff from D2S bulbs and projectors DESIGNED for such bulbs and the resulting increase in output lumens.
Here, compare it with a proper HID setup: s2k projectors, D2S 4300k philips bulbs

Oh, and anything rated above 4300k is a reduction in light output.
Enjoy blinding everyone.

I will
So, acknowledging the fact that you KNOW you're just slapping things together to get "brighter" (read: more obnoxious) headlights, if you're spending money on HID's why not do a little more research and do things correctly the first time around? Retrofits aren't very expensive, and you could even send your headlights out to be worked on if you weren't inclined to do the work yourself.

I'll look into the retrofits.
