Hids look good. I think the Fogs are too high kevlens, you should have went for a lower k's for the fogs.

I have also yet to see some who has done a retro fit headlight that DOES NOT LEAK and look like an oem job. Doing a retro fit is easy, but doing one with out and leaks and make it look like a stock unit is HARD.

Well I installed my HID's (6k) and yes I still have the flicker when they are off, and I have pulled the fuse for the DRL's...

Any ideas?

i never understood the animosity towards blue hids as being ricer. most luxury cars come with blueish hid's nowadays, and the real hid's on X's have a blueish tint to them. nonetheless, i think purpleish is definitely ricey

NOT true, new cars do NOT come with blue HID. All new cars with HID projectors have a blue line along the cutoff when on low beam. This is what you are seeing and is caused by the cutoff. when you look at them straight on they are 4200K or so, not 6000K or more.

im about to do the same but foks 3k and low beam at 8k (might be to much for my liking)

I will also look into the retrofit 2
