The Ultimate Aggressive Wheel Thread... Evo X Style
Rubbing issues man, and u can run less aggressive camber too with 265.. Understand that it's 18x11 and it's low offset too, forgot what was posted earlier, but damn!!! Well done!!! Looks killer!! 9.5 wheels aren't that aggressive on the X..
Thanks man!!! Actually I can't run less camber because I'm running r compounds as of now. The sidewalls are not crazy stretch. My camber isn't too crazy also. Im running a neg 3 at the front and neg 2.5 at the rear. I only had this setup for a month. Planning go for some lil cheaper tires after my r1rs go out. And I am rubbing a lil at the rear. But only on one side.I ordered my rear toe arm two months ago. Part is on back order. When install that should eliminate my rubbing.

I'd say there is isn't any other advantage from a 10.5 rim... you're adding more rotational weight by running a wheel that is an 1/2 inch wider.... so if you step up from a 9.5 rim the weight increase will be even more.... For Xs though I'd have to say running 9.5 is like running 8.5 on CT9As... The Xs have huge wheel wells and they allow for a lot more room to run a wider wheel. A few peeps here are running 19x10.5 +12.

running stretch tires is not a big issue as even real track time attack EVOs run them.
Aesthetically there is a difference between the faces of the wheel. The 11 inch wheel does appear to have more concave than the 10.5 TE....
9.5--->10.5---11.... MAD CONCAVE!
So if I had a X I'd do the same and just run the 11s and stretch tires a bit
. More concave FTWLast edited by Astro_Train; Jul 4, 2011 at 08:44 AM.
