Those are my favorite Volks of all time! I wish they still made them, they look so good on Evos and most other cars too! I'd keep those wheels forever if I were you..so sick!

255/35/19 on 19x9.5 +22 would look awesome, meaty tires look good.. I had 275/35 on 19x10.5 +22 in the past with alittle bit of rubbing, no big deal.. I'm sure you'll pull off 255/35/19s just fine on 9.5 +22 and you'll get extra height and comfort..

 

I don't know if I would consider 255/35 a really "meaty" tire. I would atleast go 265's.

 

^^I meant height wise and thickness.. 30s look too thin for my likings, all though I do plan to run it soon for overall clearance and weight purpose on 19x10.5 +12..

I normally don't like these wheels at all, in fact I think they're kinda ugly, but your car... I actually want these wheels now... it looks damn good!
