You could run up to a inch wider wheel but you have to have the same size tire front and rear. so like a 265/35/18 tire with a 18x9 front and a 18x10 rear would probably work.. Or you can do different size tires like a 255/40/18 front to a 275/35/18 rear if the tires have the exact same diameter around tho. I had to do that on a customers New BMW 7 series.. He wanted stagger which is no prob. then we where 255/35/20 on the front and 275/30/20 rear but for some reason it kept setting off a wheels sensor light.. So we call the dealership to see what the deal was and the tires have to be the exact same diameter other wise it sets off that error. the tires we had put on where off my a 1/4 or an inch. So we had to get a different brand that made that those size of tires in the same size and then it worked fine... Its all in the Overall diameter

So what's the answer?

The pics in this thread (plus the performance in a few other threads) has made me decide to scrap my idea for a 996 Turbo project... I'm not in the market for a WW Evo X.

Need to dump that another 1.5", looks goofy right now and you probably need to add more negative chamber to that.

Function over form. No need to slam it and ruin the handling of this car just for the looks. Maybe if I get a coilover setup later down the road I'll drop it a tad more.

My car will getting aligned this spring with -3* up front and -2* in the rear. Right now it's all out of whack since I just fliped the camber bolts.

How do you like the gunmetal rpf1's? First pics ive seen with gunmetal, I was thinking about getting them in the same color and offset but 9.5s. See if u can take a few more pics of the gm on gg, i was worried about it blending in too well. You like the color over black you had?
