tolga900,
while its true that visible wires look bad. Showing X owners a pillar cluster means nothing because we have airbags in those pillars and so will not likely be seeing A pillar gauge clusters.

Power can be found in the cabin fuse panel. Personally speaking, I like to use add-a-circuits. There are about 5 empty IGN ON fuse slots and 3-4 Constant 12V fuse slots. They are all slots for things like heated seats, heated mirrors, power seats, sunroof, etc. All accessories we do not have.

*The Secondary fuse panel - The small strip to the right of the main cabin fuse panel has all of the constant 12V sources. The Primary fuse panel has all of the IGN ON 12 V sources.

Illumination can technically be taken from a 12V IGN ON slot, but it will stay lit while the car is on. The Tach and Speedo do anyhow, so why not? If you must have them tied into the lights, just tap anything that lights up when the lights are turned on. Hope this helps some guys because there's really nothing regarding the electrical install. I busted out my meter and crawled under the dash.

Drill a little hole between the top of the dash and the dash board. AND make sure you screw your defis down to the dash. I had my defis stolen and my insurance woudnt cover them cause they were not bolted down. fyi
