Have Mudflaps cleared your chipping issue?

Did installing mudflaps prevent your paint from stone chips?

Mine's still chipping pretty good even with the splash guards on. No aero kit. Strangely, it's only on the passenger side. The driver's side is pretty clean. I've got the temporary $5 solution discussed here on the board, which I installed probably 2 hours after delivery. I keep waiting for Rally Armor to release something, but no luck yet. The rear OEM guards look horrible, IMO, and it'd be a waste to just use only the fronts.

I'll probably end up getting Xpel or something ASAP to prevent further damage.

Edit: I thought I'd add, the only place I have chipping is on the trailing edge of the door jam. The rockers look pretty clean, so the splash guards are helping a bit if others complaints are accurate. It's not as good as I'd like, though.

I have the OEM mudflaps since the word go and haven't had any chips at all. I've lived in Alaska too so I've seen probably some of the worst road conditions ever. My car also has the aero kit which may or may not have something to do with it as well.

I put on the $5 ones on the front only, and don't have any chips. I've done donuts off road about 3x too.
