Painted roof and stock wheels?

I've been thinking about it and asking around with various answers. What would you guys think of a RR X with a very dark dark gray roof and matching wheels? I was just going to paint the stock rims almost a gunmetalish color, but not necessarily real shiny. Probably something to match up the charcoal trim on the car. Same color as the MR wheels basically. Just kinda gloss. Some people think the painted roof would be hot, others think its stupid. Its not any form a money issue because I work at a high-end repair shop so really the possibilities are only limited to how much time I want to spend on it. maybe a black roof? I'd like some feedback from fellow X owners and not just people who only know what an X is because I own one. Maybe somene would photoshop it for comparison? Thanks guys.

Sort of like this...

pointless IMO

having a gray/gunmetal roof would look terrible on RR

black on the other hand won't really add/detract from the car's styling in any way

Now if you were running a carbon hood, carbon trunk, carbon spoiler, it may make sense to make the roof black/do a carbon overlay.

by gray Im talking like dark-*** gray, practically black. The wheels might get a gunmetal look, not the roof. Wheels can also go black as well. Im just kinda brainstorming different colors, ideas.

I've never seen a dark grey ***. I think it would scare me off. Haha

Colored roofs are very tacky, other than black.

So black would be halfway decent? That was the original plan if I chose to do it.
