Minor Upgrade

Factory Front lip . . . custom ramp to get into my garage, its a pain, but the way it looks makes it totally worth it, i didnt like the factory kit at first, especially on stock height with stock wheels, it looks terrible, but then i saw the agressive wheel thread and fell in love, i had my wheels for a month and they will be on sale soon, because i want to go 18x9.5 all around with 275/35's, the cornering speeds will be even more amazing!!! cant wait, pm me if interested in the rims, they're 18x8.5 et29, please do not move this thread its not a for sale thread just simply mentioning future plans, thanks for listening and now for the pics

just test fitting some 19x10.5's et 43, from my is350, they did not fit, so i sold them, i also put three 5mm spacers so that the rim was not hitting the suspension, but because of that i did not have enough thread to put any lugnuts on and could not drop the car, oh well, u get the idea though,

Its a shame the people that build roads and driveways and the like, dont put a thought in about performance vehicles driving on them. It would suck to own a vette, they are even lower in the front the way the bumper and airdam is. Nice work on the custom ramp. When I build houses, you wont need one of those, and you will have a lift in the supersized garage as well.

Looks good, and nice ramp. Too bad you even have to use the ramp. The incline, doesn't look too bad until the pics of you driving over it.

looks very nice. I like your rims. we will have to talk when your ready to sell. my suggestion for your garage is to get some 2 inch pvc pipe and 2 bags of sacrete and make that ramp permanent. just make 2 side forms over you pipe so water can run thru then pour and smooth out your shape with a 2x4 . I was not as lucky at my old house the driveway was put in to steep . so I had 12 ft removed and sloped. then it was like glass.

love the color.

Yes me and my dad installed it, it wasnt that hard, along with the front lip you have to buy these brake guides, that guides the air to cool the brakes, because i guess the lips covers some airflow, and we wouldnt want our brembos overheating or causing them to fade alot quicker, My car is lowered with Megan Racing coilovers which aren't in production yet, you can call them for the details, i would like a little less gap in the front but as you can see i dont have much room to play with, plus it being a rally car i didnt want it slammed on the floor, dont get me wrong it looks good just not that good 4 daily driving considering tirewear and potholes, anywayz, thanks for the comments

What is a shame is when people don't take DRAINAGE into consideration, and water floods into your garage or in and around your foundation. The higher the foundation is raised away from the water drainage the better for the stability of the building. Houses cost more than front lips.

Does anyone else think that the front lip on the EVO looks weird? It looks heavy and "chunky" in my opinion. I wish there was a more elegant design available. NOt to start a war, but the Eclipse front end seems much more "put together" than the EVO front end.

I like the rims though

Car looks good. Liked the blue lip wheels. 18x9.5 will be sick though. I am gonna go that route with mine later this year as I finish all the mods.
