Hi guys, I don't really post much on the forum - but I've been reading and researching for a while now. I've always wanted an evo ever since I sat in my uncles silver evo 6 back in the late 90's. I was too young and poor to get one so I worked hard and saved up for one of my own...

Is that a vortex generator, also wats the different between that and the american GSR.

Yes thats a vortex generator. I think the key differences between stock American GSR and an UK GSR FQ360; Carbon lip spoiler, Vortex generator, Hks upper/lower i/c hard pipes, Hks Super Hybrid filter, Hks Exhaust system, ECU Re-map, Bilstein/Eibach suspension set up, Leather and Suede interior, Xenons, Rockford Fosgate screen/sat nav system and the steering is on the other side!

Might have missed something but thats about all I can think of

 

Cheers - yeah the wheels will get changed eventually but going to keep these for a while until I scrape some pennies together

Yes its true on the GSR FQ360 we get all that as stock, but this is the top spec model you can get from a dealer in the UK that comes with full warrenty and it costs a hell of a lot. If I told you how much it costs us over here in USD you would cry or laugh!

 

The Vortex Generator rocks... I want one badly.

 

It looks great, it sure is a shame that we don't get the FQ over here. Keep good care of her. What kind of rims are you looking to put on when you have enough?

 

I thought X's didn't need a vortex generator due to the roof/rear window design? Makes me wonder why Mitsubishi would put on on for no reason. Either way, it looks good

 

Well think about it this way, most people who put vortex generators on their previous evos did it because it made the car look kool , so i guess they applied it to the new fq , i just want a better shot of it cuz i think it will look good on my car.

Hi mate, will take some more pics of the vortex generator for you tomorrow as its dark here already. To be honest its probably not needed at all, I'm almost sure it does next to nothing, but it sure does look cool
