Just raising the dead to defend an old favorite... the 2002 Bugeye. They don't have to look like sh*t. They just tend to because they more often then not are in the hands of kid with NO MONEY.

Anyway, here is a counter point:

 

Both cars are nice. The Prodrive style Bugeye STIs that they got in the UK were good looking imho. Unfortunately, most WRX I see are owned by tasteless scenesters.

I'll always have a soft spot for the bugeye since it was really my first car...but the look of it was just always a hit or miss.. some people enjoyed it others hated it.

I'll admit, even at times I thought it wasnt the best looking car, but I got back in it, and realized why I picked it.

I do get a lot more lady compliments though with the evo x.... hehe.

 

The wrx is a great car. But I agree.. they look very outdated in the first post.

 

great choice with the X, youll love it although modding is very addicting so you better start now
