Hey all,

I'm having a real hard time deciding between 20% versus 35% tint all around on my GG X. I'd really appreciate it if you could post as many pics of your GG X's with either 20% or 35% tint (preferably from different angles/lighting). I'm worried the darker tint won't look right on the gray car.

Mods: I wasn't sure if this should go in the Official Graphite Gray thread. Please move if necessary. Thanks!

 

I had 20% all around before and it was just too dark for me at night. So I changed the fronts to 35% and i love it. Front still blends good with the back. I'm happy with the setup.

Simple solution...... Get 30% like I did. Looks nice.

 

OP, if your state regulation states nothing lower than 35%, go 35%. otherwise, go for 5%.

 

This was a pic for a "Middle bumper paint/vinyl" in the GTS section. it's got 20% all around. you should go with 20%. I think it looks really sharp. With 30%, I think it's too subtle to tell a difference. it's not too dark at night either and keeps the sun out.

 

Thanks guys! That really helps - the two cars posted look quite different with the 20% though. Anyone have more pics of20% or 35%? BTW, I'm going for 3m tint too.

 

Make sure to get the "mole skin mod". Felt on the rubber window strip. Or else your tint will get scratched.

actually the difference between 20 and 35 isn't that bad, but i would make a decision based on how much night-time driving you do, that is where you will notice the biggest difference in terms of visibility.

 

I got 20% in the rear and 30% in the front - looks super.
I'll post pix when I get home tonight.

 

Might want to make sure 20% is legal in your state, that could help you decide.

 

you live in flordia = spraypainted windows are legal

 

holy crap, 3% tint! can you see out of it at night??? lol
