This is the model you "should have" replicated.

The charge speed VG is ricey with the tall fins.

 

year of car is of no difference as far as antenna base is concerned, its when you have SSS or base.

 

Get it painted.

In general I don't like cars that are other colors than black with carbon fiber because I dislike two tone color schemes.

 

This is the new "revised" APR VG? Its a lot worse than the prior version.

1. new gap around the antenna
2. new gaps on both sides where it meets the back window
3. the actual shape doesnt contour the roof (its a lot more bowed)

 

Go back to drawing board Rexpeed. Get a hold of an authentic FQ-360 VG and replicate that. Make a poll if you need to. Im down to leave a deposit right now, if you guys can make one..

 

Oh it was just a test fit. It's not stuck on their yet, the fitment is pretty good, and there is no gap on the sides by the back window. Its the gap around the atenna thats bothering me. I'm talking to the company right now to see if they can send me the atenna piece. So I'll let you guys know if I get that extra piece since my gsr is a base not a sss.

 

I dont think the VG look good on the X's, but thats my opinion. The X looks better without it.

 

The revised APR VG fits great. The one thing they could have done is have made it a tiny bit longer to account for the thickness of the tape, but besides that it fits great.

 

Im going to need closer/detailed pics in order to properly assess the new version.

Where's the fitment issue? If you're talking about around the antenna then that's just how it is. I have a black car though, so it doesn't really matter.

 

So when she says, that the APR VG fits like "sha poopie". Does that mean it fits bad?
