Damn, those mirrors are nice. Are they being produced and is anyone rocking them?

I was going to buy the side mirrors from japanparts but I heard they are a b*tch to install.

At last, somebody is addressing those rediculuously large OEM side view mirrors!!! The question is are they significantly smaller than OEM surface area? I have query in for size. As it stands now, the OEM mirrors creat a terrible blind spot when turning left; you cannot see a curb. JUN mirrors are much smaller but are butt ugly and do not have electonic controls.
The concept mirrors are definitely the way to go but it does not look like these replacements have acutally reduced the size of the mirrors.

Later, Ken

i like the idea, but hopefully someone comes out with a clean design. the prototype mirrors are really nice looking, but I doubt anyone will make something close to the quality of the prototype. Altho I'm very surprised at how supportive vendors are being with the X.

yeah but i doubt they will be affordable, most people with non-SSS evos are looking for just some decent projectors and not spending 500+ for a pair.

This is so freakin true.. I have nightmares that one day i'ma hit a curb while making a left on the intersection. Those OEM mirrors are a poor design that blocks your vision.
