Light-Tuned EVO X in China
I have no choice lah. Actually I am from HK but working in Shanghai. Car tuning in mainland China is so un-developed and I have bad experience in my previous tuning on a Mazda 6. The supply of kits are limited (all imports subject to real heavy duties) and the tuning skills are poor. So when I locked up EVO X as my target I have already decided to take the risk-free way, i.e. all bolt-ons!! Luckily I manage to get all the JDM kits from Tokyo directly through my network so there are not that way exepensive......
nice, car!!i didn't know there is evo in china, i went back to china 2 month ago, and all i saw is 2 sti. the road and driver in china is getting worst and worst, be careful when driving! don't want a nice car like that get ding or something. keep it safe.
hmmm cusco, ralliart, ohlins, colt speed, advan, i'd say this car is pretty well represented from all sorts of great companies. not that there's anything wrong with HKS... a lot of my parts will be HKS
I need to be doing, what he is doing. I am stuck modding with Autozone and Home Depot products.
I was amazed to see your car realizing China is so exposed to the tuning world that a car modded like yours in Shanghai is totally unheard of. You must have good connections for those parts hookup. Must be quite a head turner driving around in Shanghai! Can't go wrong with JDM bolt-ons for reliability and trouble free maintenance. Is there any tunning shops in China that has dyno tuning?
Im also from HK
