APR Should make a Wide Body Kit, shouldn't it?

I was looking at the wide body kit done by APR for the Evo 9 & 8 and they keep the car looking so aggressive!!! and i was wondering if they have any project for a WIDE BODY EVO X!!!

anybody else would like APR to make a wide body kit too?

i was also thinkin that maybe they could make like a wide body version of the test & service body kit. The Front bumper is so aggressive and so is the back bumper... all it would need is to be wide body!

just my opinion tho... i kinda like the wide body look and i thought it would look killer on the evo X!

There really isn't a point. Unless you are trying to fit some 11"+ wheels under the factory fenders, just have them rolled. We have managed to fit everything from 18x9.5 +22 to 19x10.5 +18.

I agree, I have 18x10.5+12's and 285/30's on the car now...no need for widebody really.

^^^ +1 to that.

I am running 18X 9.5 + 22 w/ 275/35/18's

and going bigger

I plan on running the same offset as you Ryan, with with either 295, or 305/30/18's

I think 10.5" should be the standard for the X's, I've been confused by all the 9.5"s being put on. Ohh well. Just be cautious...too much tire can really kill the car. I'm sure you'll get it worked out though.

Volk had asked what size rim I wanted to run for SEMA, and I told them 18X10.5 + 22 offset, they decided to send over 18X9.5 + 22. I really wanted 10.5's ..

PM'd.

But I don't see the need for a wide body in most cases.

i totally agree!

okay maybe everybody is right... maybe the car doesnt really need a wider body but just imagin the FQ400 front and rear, lowered with the wide body giving it that mega aggresive look! with the pissed off look the headlights already gives off no one messing with this X!!

Rob, I know where you are going; that is a lot of extra weight to get going but must be countered against the increased surface patch and associated grip on cornering.

Later, Ken
