what a joke! i noticed the rubber on the lip looked a little weird - reached underneath and the grommet had fallen out! not a big deal but I need to head over to the dealer now...waste of time

Yes and a lot of us are without that rubber piece.

I've been that way since about 10,000 miles (30,000 miles now), I don't mind.

 

haha i was like one screw? I lost the whole thing!

 

Yeh that happened to me too, I just used some super glue and glued the rubber back on and threw the screw away some where.

 

damn - has anyone filed anything official? my car less then 2k on it and things are already falling off lol. what is the dealers response to it?

 

My rubber piece fell out on the way home from Florida...oh well.

 

all that ruber piece is for is to hide the screws that shows without it.. i just painted them black

I, to, removed the rubber piece; the disimilar material relative to the lip just didn't look right to me. IMHO looks better off than on.

I think I lost mine in a touchless car wash. I really liked the look with having it on so I went to the dealership to price out what it would cost to replace it. The dealer said it was $210. What an absolute rip off!

I guess I will have to deal with not having it or just wait until a more subtle lip comes out.

Yeah, rubber came off almost immediately from the dealership... well atleast half of it did. Finall after buying some mushroom plugs and trying to keep it on myself, I just removed it entirely.

 

I don't think we're reporting it falling off without bottoming out.

It's unavoidable if it rubs against the ground..
