So the door panel itself has to come apart... I don't mean just come off the car, i mean does the actual door panel itself have to come apart??? I just wanna be alittle more clear just to make sure I understand completely. Thanks again and sorry for all the questions.

No worries. I am actually considering doing this as a side job because I need the money.

yes you have to take apart the whole door panel. Its a pain, also putting on the fabric is even a bigger ***** because of the curves and bends. It took me 8 hours to do because of the amount of patience and screw ups I had. I spent over 400 dollars on fabric alone.

No wonder its so damn expensive to get done by upholstery shops.

I did this on my DSM when I had it. I did the same color scheme. The white stayed surprisingly clean if you take care of it. The one time you're in a hurry and get it dirty is a real b*** though.

I also just read that you're doing the headliner too, I did this as well and it looks alot better IMO. However I suggest keeping your window down driving to a minimum unless you feel like cleaning/redoing it. Best of luck to you!! Looks good so far.

Several upholstery shops told me to spray some scotch gaurd and water repellent and if I ever need to get it cleaned... all I need to do is steam clean it.
