Am I the first? (gauge pod material)

first double oem abs color match finish?


This is how it was before and looked bad. But we turned this into above picture.

No matter where you put guages it has the ricer stigma depending on someone else's opinion. If you're doing something b/c you think someone might or might not like it, you're doing things for the wrong reasons.


OP, good job on the molding. What was the reasoning for making the pod closer to the windshield a lower profile?

Do you have the paint code for the stock interior paint and or cost? I need to sand a bit more and add the final coat on my triple gauge pillar pod still. Thanks.

Made it down low so its low and out of the way and its closer because installed it just looked like it flowed so i went with it.

Actually neither. Used a heavy duty plastic glue, and friend actually matched the factory texture just by little heat and some tool he had, came out awesome what he did.

So those gauge pods are attached and molded to the pillar with just glue??? That is insane.

Lol totally agree, because of placing. It was bound to happen sometime, just a lot sooner than I expected.

Its color matched nice.... I however would have gone with a gauge that didnt look cheap, and who the hell uses a Volt gauge ?

Other then that, looks very nice

haha volt. i dont have my wideband yet so i paid like $20 for that just so it wasnt a open hole. no worries its not staying.
