Guys that are running it are BlackTrack (sponsored), White Seibon sponsored Evo X (forgot name), and, AMS time attack (I think).

Heres Blacktracks page on them. His is painted and he also saved some weight. So i guess for him it was worth the money

The WW Evo X sponsored by Seibon belongs to Chris aka DC_TypeR.

He recently did a shoot of his X. Link here: http://www.carbon8mag.com/gallery/v/...MitsubishiEVO/

Enjoy.

Those carbon doors are pretty wicked, have fun with that pricetag though.

For sure, you need to weigh the safety factor as well. Unless it's a track only car I'm sure there are better ways to trim weight. Unless it's a purely aesthetic mod...

I have them on my X, w/ a full 10 point cage. I would NOT recommend them for the street at all, unless you have a cage.

Fitment is pretty good, no shims needed. As far as window trim/moldings, I decided not to put mine back, along with 95% of the rest of the stock stuff. I have bare doors in the front, just door handles, the rears, pretty much the same, windows are in though.

The weight savings was pretty good for me... can't speak for others.

+1 on the safety issue... only put on cf doors if you have a full cage with side impact bars, or if the car is trailered eveywhere..

Chris,

Thanks for dropping in on the doors. I was seriously considering them, but my Evo is my DD!

Thanks,

Brandon
