powder coating rims
alright, i have some questions about powder coating, im very new t this so gimme a break :/
first of all i have the stock bbs rims that come with the evo x mr, and i was wondering if i could powder coat those greyish/black. I have seen people powder coat the stock gsr rims but im uncertain about the MR BBS rims. im not sure if the rims have to be a certain material or not, so please help me out guys!
in your honest opinion, would you do it if you were in my position? i have a Phantom Black Evo X mr.
thanks!

I think the stock "chome-y" silver on the MR looks right at home with black.
I am actually surprise no one change the cap to red, it would look sick in my opinion.
Gunmetal on with red BBS cap will look sick in my opinion.
Not an evo, but you get the idea.

powdercoating is the way to go...it is extremely durable and permanately bonds to the surface you apply it to. I have a set of black powdercoated rims and they are 2+yrs old and look brand new

you can buy a old oven at a garage sale and do it in your shop... but i wouldnt in my home either. im just sayin, its only gotta be 400* and only twenty minutes.... or untill you can see the powder get really glossy and smooth, around 20 minutes
