Seibon Lip Install.....Uncle!

I was originally going to post this in "How To's" but given my search yielding nothing, I figured that there are alot of people here who have done this install that could chime in before I shoot myself.

I'm trying to install this Seibon Lip (which is a nice piece). I'm thinking the lip would be ready to go with double-sided tape, instuctions, etc., but it's just the lip.

Anyway, it seems as if all that is needed to do is to place the lip over the existing non-SSS lip/bumper, evaluate the fit, and maybe add some double-sided tape if need be.

As you can see from the photos, there are 3 offset brackets on the Seibon that line up with 3 attachment areas on the existing non-SSS lip/bumper . The problem is that I don't see a way that the 3 Seibon offset brackets can clear the 3 regular attachment points as they are not flush. When I place the lip on the bumper, the top portion fit well, but these brackets wouldn't allow the the lower part of the lip to fit flush.

I figure that the existing non SSS lip has to stay as it has all the attachment points to the undertray.

I'm probably missing someting very obvious, but this is my first time doing a lip install without any directions....

Any help would be deeply appreciated

As you can see they line up right on top of the factory attachment points, but are not flush...

Depending on what lip you have you may need to remove the stock lip defuser. use washers to help adjust it. Put it on and then take pics of the gap. If the gap is too big, contact seibon.

So here are some more pics after I got it on the bumper.

Is this the way it is supposed to fit? The brackets create gaps at the middle and the sides and I'm really not sure as to how it is going to line up with the undertray as it has pushed the stock attachment points down...

When you say "lip deflector" is that the black plastic section in the middle under the intercooler that holds the screw clips that connect to the undertray?

I started to take that off and then stopped as I was concerned that there would only be only a few attachment points left for the undertray...

Thank you for the help

be careful where the lip goes up to meet up where the center grill is at on both side cause it will leave scratch cause of the lip being to tight to fit and about the middle part i didnt have to take out my bumper all i did was pop of the clips and had it open enough for the lip to slip under and then had everything clip back on...hope that help

here how it looks on my car after install:
