My Custom side mirror mounts

Since day one, I hated those damn SUV style mirrors. Since Craft Square are taking a while to come out with mirrors for the Evo 10, I decided to modify my old Craft Square mirror from my Evo 9.

As engineer/designer for Northrop Grumman, I designed my own custom side mounts

After machining

Craft Square mirror from my old Evo 9

I picked up some used Evo10 side mirrors and hacked off the mounts

Sanded the mounts flat

At work I filled the side mounts with composite filler and reinforced with carbon fiber. ..Sorry no pics taken at work....now heres the final product

sorry for hijacking your thread, but if you have aftermarket side mirrors can you still control them electronically?
