Love the first picture!

If you like the look of the mudflaps, by all means, go for them to get the added benefit of the paint protection. I'm personally not a huge fan of the look, but I went ahead and got it installed for that stated reason. There is a long thread floating around about people getting rock chips because they do not have protection from flaps or the OEM aero kit.
