please clarify "to go far".
18" (pros)
- costs less (depending on wheel/tire)
- weighs less (depending on wheel/tire)
- smoother ride (compared to 19")
- wider selection
19" (pros)
- looks better (personal opinion)
- can take larger rotor
- stiffer sidewall (since there is less, but depends on tire)
wider tire (pros & cons)
- better traction
- props from peeps :-p
- reduced mpg (rolling resistance)
- more expensive to replace
another thing to consider is the offset.

! found out!, for a mate!

I've driven an X on 19s and have to say I'm glad I bought 18s, some tram lining on 275s and it just didn't feel right, they weren't Advans though!

maybe i should go 18 x 10 then if it tramlines
