Nice work man, obviously money is no object. This is one of my favorite x's thus far, but one question why did you choose hks for everything?

This would last for a month or so and then die down gradually. But similar things would happen every 2-3 years and thats China......

Similar stories happened in one city or province recently that because of a street dog bite some high-rank official or what then a massacre started again and killed > 20,000 dogs already......

There are a lot of ridiculous things happening in China everyday and the only way out is "patience".
that sucks man, hope u never meet any JC on street.

I believe you refer to performance parts then yes I would stick to HKS, mostly bolt-on options. The rationale behind is because of the low tuning quality and standards here in China which could be a nightmare if you want to do something more aggressive or precise tuning. Thats my experience for last couple of years when I tuned my other cars in China. So for this one which is a EVO with more new and high-tech designs like 4B11 and SST I would stick with bolt-on solutions only to stay away from hassles and HKS is the most reliable option I can get with the tuners I know in China as well as Hong Kong.

Haha, no way you can be so "lucky". On my way back to the office every morning I would "hit" at least 4 JCs at key junctions. But they basically recognized my monster already so not a big issue.
