clear bra what brand?

invisible mask, expel, ventureshield...

i'm leaning towards invisi mask due to price and their lifetime guarantee...whatever that means...mainly for price. it's like almost 1/3 the price vs. expel. but i'm wondering if there's a fitment issue with the invisi masks. they don't even have a picture of the rocker panel cut-out on their website.

also xpel's rear wheel impact area cutout seems more of a comprehensive coverage than invisi mask's "splash kit" and that's the most important part of the coverage as i see people complaining about chips solely in this area.

as i'm not good with installing this type of stuff, i'm probably going to find someone in the GTA/markham area to do it for me.

invisi mask is going to run $438 USD. that's basically $550 Canadian when all said and done. i figure installer going to charge what? $250? i dunno. but it will cover:

Bumper Kit
Hood Fender Mirror Kit
Splash Kit
Rockers Kit

see it here: invisi mask

what do you guys think? i've had my evo for a week and everytime i hear something bounce off the car while driving i cringe and get paranoid. no chips so far though...

I have the Invisimask pre cut for the front bumper, and side rockers, then I bought bulk film (48" by like 10') from ventureshield and did my rear doors and basically the area between the rear doors and the tires half way up. If you take your time and are careful, you should be able to do this yourself.

I got VentureShield. It comes with a lifetime warranty as well, which covers everything from scratching and tearing to yellowing.

It's the best clear bra out there. There's a reason its the only one Ferrari and Mercedes use.

I have a full front clear bra from VentureShield as well. It's pretty good, though I'm getting annoyed by the wax lines But that's inherent with any clear bra.

It's pretty good stuff, from what I can tell so far.

I have the invisible mask. I too bought it because of price and this being my first attempt at installing something like this. I didnt want to spend alot if it turned out bad or i didnt like it. Me and a friend did the whole front and it took us about 4 hours with a few breaks in between. Once its on and all the moisture dries, you cant really tell its there. I've never done one before and after doing it i realize a couple things i could have done better and will probably redo some pieces, not because they look bad, but because i now know what i can do differently to stretch for more coverage. Before this winter, im going to buy the side skirt pieces as well as a bulk piece to cut for the rear door. I'll probably pick up the pieces for the rear spats also (aero kit). I couldnt be happier with my purchase and will buy again. I'll also install it myself again too. As long as you are patient its doable.

i have invisimask full front coverage with 3m material (you can choose invisible mask's material or 3m's), and the rear impact area i got a kit from XPEL. their rear impact area is in fact the rear door kit. i had one cut myself before but opted for the kit because their laser cut kit is better than my hand cut.

what's full front coverage? check out the link in my op and let me know what kit you got. and xpel's rear door kit...how high up and how wide does it cover the rear doors?

Just pm me. I'll be putting it on ebay within a week.

I have the invisible mask, and its the only brand I recommend. Its been on my car for the since sept. 08 and there is no fading, peeling, etc... It still looks new. For the price and warranty, you can't beat it. As for the rear rock prone area, just order a bulk size strip and custom cut your own.

+1 for VentureShield but you can't go wrong either way.
