before i get flamed or w/e i am fully aware this is the x forums. the 08 lancer forum doesnt have a show and shine section. anyways decided to black out the top of my car. came out fairly well with few bubbles (hopefully the sun will take care of them) and i did run into trouble laying it in one piece, so i had to cut it but it none of these imperfections can be seen from a few feet away let me know wut u guys think.

p.s. it took 5 people at first then dwindled down to 3 after getting the hang of it (previous experience with smaller pieces) started at 11pm and finished around 530am. i HIGHLY DISAPPROVE of anyone attempting this on their own lol unless u have extreme patience skill and are handy with tools and this type of material. I would not repeat this. Pay wutever it costs to have it painted lol i just wanted to be able to go back to regular paint if needed.

honestly its kinda hard to tell in the pics, but hey its cool IMO your being yourself and customizing the car to you

yeh i wouldnt do it to any evo either and ur rite a gloss color wud have been a lot better but i had to match it with the front which i blacked out and with the trunk lip i have on it which are all flat black.

not bad, its hard to see. maybe better on different color car other then TB or PB an GG.

it being flat black just makes it look like somebody sanded the clearcoat off of your graphite gray roof. it looks stupid. i had the roof of my GG EVO IX MR painted black along with the VG to match the carbon hood and trunk. if you had a matte finish carbon hood and trunk, then that might look okay...but as it sits, what's the point? no sunroof, and gloss black would be nice. even then it would look dumb as the only mod done to an otherwise stock body lancer.
