in my instructions that came with the button, you were able to install the button on BOTH GSR and MRs WITH and WITHOUT fast key.

no, i didnt translate and yes, they were all in Japanese. The instructions are pretty easy to follow because theres diagrams and pictures of everything...

Funtionality-wise, since you have to crank the ignition to position 2 anyways, it doesnt really make a difference if its fast key or not, gsr or mr....

You sure u want to get it? its alot of money for just a novelty switch. I do agree that it comes in REALLY handy when car stalls out during tracking... simply depress clutch, and press and go... but for DD, i use it maybe 10% of the time... I just bought it because the button intrigued me since the very beginning of time and no one seemed to know anything about it.

I justified the purchase by telling myself that I was gonna reverse-engineer it and sell the mod in the us and become a millionaire...

haha, not working out at all. The minute I opened the packaging, I and said: DAMN...

I thought it would be a simple bypass harness and switch. Didnt realize it involved running harnesses to the starter through the engine bay, under the dash, etc... just to have the button work.

Theres also a little black brain box that attaches to it.. Im sure its related to the Can BUS ecu....

Try that out and let us know how it works. I have a feeling you won't be done.
