I just picked up some Cugas. for the airbags, use a 2 ohm resistor. I was able to install the drivers side without any problems... for the passenger side, I need to fabricate a custom rail so the weight sensors stay put from the old recaros...

Lastly, Something interesting... the 3pt seatbelt on the drivers side fit in perfectly. The Bride rail allows you to bolt the receiver female buckle to the seat rail. The other end of the seatbelt anchors to the B pillar at the bottom. The PROBLEM I encountered however on the passenger side is: There are ANCHOR points on BOTH sides of the original seat. Meaning, there is Nothing attached to the B pillar on the passenger side... Will update when I figure out what to do. I might pull the trim off the B pillar and see if theres a mounting point behind there...

antics22 thanks for a great post! I am going with Vorgas. I think they are simuliar to the Cugas exept the side bolsters are smaller. My seat belts got cut in half too so I have to get new seat belts at a cost of $1050 for both belts and the female buckles. For less $ I could go with the 4 point harness but then I would have to get the harness bar as well, and that has its own issues. Even with the a small discount I am getting the seats, rails, and seatblets are going to run me (are you sitting down) $4631.85 including tax. This does not include labor. The Bride Vorgas are $1400.00 a piece and the rails run $190.00 a set. YE-HAW! Incase anyone is wondering the dealer will sell you new Recors for $2500.00 each and the seats are in pieces. So Brides are the only way to go if I want new.
That 2 ohm resistor is a great idea. I was concerned about the airbag light going off in my face. Right now I have a airbag service light on. My other concern was if the stock seat belts would fit the Bride Vorgas, and it looks like they will. Cool.

that's a pain. hopefully within a year a full fix is made so nothing needs to be done but install the seats.

I noticed that there's a pretty long lag from when the lights come on... I drove for about 70 miles after changing my wheels thinking, "Wow no TPMS light!", at which point the TPMS warning came on...

If you really miss your stock seats I can make the sacrifice and trade you my seats for some Recaro SPGs or ZETA III's

Theres a how-to already. Its in the HOW TO section. I followed that exactly and it resolved the airbag light dilemma. Im afraid however, I dont know how to go about "RESETING" an airbag light. The instructions are only for INSTALLING it. From what I have been reading, once you trip the light, i think the X needs to be reset at the dealer...
