Has anyone seen interesting aftermarket tail lights for the X? I like the way the Ralliarts looks with GG, so I may go this route. Just wasn't sure if any of the aftermarket providers had something different looking (i.e. LEDs) in the pipeline.

I saw ads for these LED taillights in a magazine... when are they coming to the USA?

 

^i dunno if they are ever going to come to NA.. you are better off buying them off the supplier in singapore or maybe doing a group buy like us up in toronto

 

Does anyone know when you install LED's do you use stock bulbs? or do just use the stock sockets and plug them in somehow?

id have to see those LEDs on an evo to decide...so theres no pics of these singapore ones on an actual evo or lancer?

 

If you follow a link to the other thread (or hit voxmotorsport.com), there's a photo of them on an Evo.

But it's kind of a strange photo... and their kind of pricey ($450?), so would still need to see them in person or at a different angle, before pulling the trigger.

i think if the stock RA design were converted/modified to use LEDs instead of bulbs, that would do well.

 

well.. they are original working parts.. not a piece of plastic you just put on like a lip kit.. it requires more than just a plastic mold.. there are electrical components in it and also they have to seal the housing correctly.. for 450 i dont think its bad at all. but still out of my price range so i wouldnt get it.

dunno abt u guys, but getting a set of black RA tails in canada runs for about 500+ from dealership so id say its worth it
