great thread! i was wondering how to distingush the new generation of fake brides now that they look so alike in pics. i only have experience with the older fake brides where u can easily tell by the fabric even on the non alcantara cloth ones, however on the newer ones seems like there's no way to tell easily just by the fabric? seems like the best way would be bringing a magnet with me next time im buying a Bride seat

how abt for bucket seats like the VIOS?

There aren't too many "good-appearing" replicas for those. You can mainly tell just by looking at the back. If it doesn't have that sparkle-silver paint, it's probably fake.

Also all Brides are sold with a certificate showing its authenticity. Al purchases that come from any authorized dealer will send one with every order.

Great writeup, anything you have for the full buckets? I am surprised how good the recaro knockoffs can get. They come with fake FIA stickers and everything.

Those are probably just little giveaways of fakeness.

I am willing to bet money if those little things are overlooked and can't be copied RIGHT, then the engineering and durability FOR SURE is not copied.

I see ZETA IIIs going for around 800 bucks from online places like More-Japan, is there a better place to get them? (not complaining, just shopping around)

Did you ever get around to doing the differences between the Zeta IIIs and the fakes?
