No you're right, from a performance standpoint the 370 is superior to its predecessor the 350. They now built a car that could be track worthy.

 

Yeah, and the Nismo 370Z is even better in terms of handling!!!

 

Not trying to go against you, but fun factor is also an opinion,...in my opinion.

 

350z look lame with stock wheels and ride height.... i think everyone can agree on a drop and a staggered aggresive wheel set up...

 

I agree, numbers should be impressive! It's too bad Nismo isn't able to massage more power our of the engine.

 

Nismo had to keep the MSRP within reason and with all the handling upgrades they didn't have much left for hp upgrades. For some reason they decided to focus most of their effort towards lightening the car and increasing handling.

I suspect they did it because most "tuners" prefer to upgrade power over performance. This makes the car a bit more appealing. The new car owner can focus on ecu tuning/engine upgrades rather than working on suspension, carbon fiber body parts etc. They pretty much pushed this car to the limits on everything but power. That leaves all the fun stuff for the "tuner" to play with. That's just my thoughts.
