Bought a set of RA tails so the lens is clear and cf'ed everything that was painted black. I painted the chrome rings white to match the car, but I'm not sure if I will keep that...just a feeler for now. I don't want to release mine yet until she finishes hers. I might also be adding CCFL rings, but I'm still experimenting right now. I have started working on a set of headlights right now, but that will take longer due to an LED strip I am adding ala Audi and trying to figure out how much of it I am going to wrap in cf. My tails took about 2 days, no resin, no sanding, and with the RA's, no painting.

Hey would you happen to know how to return the lense back to clear if i scuffed it with the dremel?

 

no you'll just scratch it. there is no way to get it back to clear. thats what ive been trying to figure out. that red is a part of plastic. its mixed in it... i tried sanding it on the corner and using paint thinner- but nothing worked

...

After you finish the tails you should fix the holes in your pants.

 

Or get some of those and wrap them in carbon fiber... pink carbon fiber, with LEDs
