don't mean to hijack your thread, but I finally began work on my tails and headlights as well, except I am using Ralliart tails and doing the cf a bit differently...much simpler in fact...pm me

ehh cf wrap isnt so smooth, like it other then that tho. You cant separate the tails by putting them in the oven?

 

not yet hehe, just trying out some new ideas...the carbon is already done...I'm just experimenting with ccfl halos around the tail lights and different LED designs.

doing the same with the headlights...just not as advanced as some of the vendors on here

 

the traditional cloth/resin method takes a lot of sanding to get it perfect...i'm sure they'll look great once she's done!

I, on the other hand, have taken a different approach using a different type of carbon fiber...I will explain once I am done...I still need to do some testing.
