What Kind of Hood Dampners Do You Guys Have?

exactly what the title states. What kind of hood dampners do you guys have on your x? personally i think they should have come stock with the evo, especially since my previous car that's 10 years old came with them stock lol.

I have Rexpeed. I like the Coltspeed ones but they cost about double and I don't think I need to pay $200+ for some hood dampers.

You'll realize you hate them when the hood gashes the back of your head. Sorry, every car I've owned before the mitsu's (besides my mustang) had the hood struts and when it got cold out all of them wouldn't keep the hood up. Or the wind blew and slammed the hood.

Haha. I like them honestly, if you have 1 hand then you dont have to mess with a prop rod. But remember they do wear out after a while, so keep a pair of vicegrips handy or your snow brush, ha.

On the better side of things, I would get either the Rex or Colt Speed. They seem to be higher quality then others.

thanks guys, i think im gonna go with the rexspeed, im going with a carbon fiber theme and these seem like pretty good quality as well.

Rexpeed. I love them.

However, the colt speed have much better brackets.
